“The hotel was nice and comfortable and furnishings modern. the bed was extremely comfortable. The outside bar area overlooking the tidal estuary was lovely.
We had an evening meal the first night of our stay that was delicious and reasonably priced.
The location is great and extremely handy for public transport. The railways station is literally next door and that is how we travelled.
Only a couple of things to be aware of, the access stairs to the upstairs rooms are narrow and extremely steep.”
“The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. “D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility……
