“We stayed 2 nights in a 2nd floor room over looking the courtyard. The staff were all very welcoming & friendly. The breakfast had a good variety, nice and hot & cooked well which is not always the case for buffet style breakfasts. The location is good for the Peak District. Plenty of parking & although due to weather we were not able to enjoy it, the outside area was very pretty. The bathroom could benefit from a little work. Overall Good Location, welcome staff, excellent breakfast.”

“We stayed for 2 nights as it was close to Alton Towers. Hotel itself was quite dated and the bedside tables were ancient and well used but the hotel was really clean and the staff and service was fantastic, I would definitely stay here again x”

Last year i stayed at another hotel further away, and meals had to be bought off-site, so this was a much better option for me this time. Really enjoyed my time here and will be back next year.”

Room is clean and bed is just the right firmness that you can wake up rejuvenated without backache. We also like how they stock plenty of welcome drinks and snacks in room to give us coziness to wind down in the cool weather.”
