“The setting of this property outside of Estremoz is bucolic chic, and Walter, the host, was extremely gracious. My stay happened to be the day of the recent power outage in Portugal, Spain, France and other areas of Europe. Not having power was of no consequence however; it only added to the charm of being in the countryside. Walter was a pleasure to talk with, and went out of his way to make me feel welcomed. “We stayed in this hotel for one night. It’s right in the heart of the wine region and we visited a vineyard before arriving for the night. Easy to park in the underground car park but there’s also plenty of parking on the street. Super easy check-in and offered drink as we arrived which was nice. The hotel has an indoor pool and some Thermo circuit spas which were great to relax in the afternoon and morning. Lovely breakfast with a good choice, including eggs Benedict.
