Always good friendly staff, who are more than willing to help. The pub is located in a good area, close to shops and high street, and the mills and gardens. “Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall……

“The Strutt arms was a great experience. The owners were very friendly and helpful. There is an Indian restaurant on site ,and also have other foods . The standard double room was small ,but was very comfortable, it had a 37 inch television on the wall ,a portable fan,a comfy king-size bed and tea and coffee ,hot chocolate and biscuits if you feel peckish, and a complimentary jug of ice cold water as well. Internet access very good in the accommodation. Bus stop right outside if you want to……

“Check in: at the bar. Wait for 5 minutes as the staff served at the bar at that time. Wifi: good. Room: spacious, clean. One grocery shop near by, 5 minutes walk. No self laundry service. Breakfast: not buffet except juoice, milk and cereal, ok, basic. ”
