“The hotel was a quaint old British house with high ceilings and wide stairs. A little bit dated and possibly in need of some cosmetic improvements, but very nice, quiet and relaxed. The rooms were relatively spacious and clean, and the breakfast was very good. “Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was beautiful and (when I was there) very quiet. “Absolutely fabulous hotel, we will continue to use it when we are travelling through Gatwick airport! Very helpful and friendly staff (toilet issue that they got on immediately for us), fabulous breakfast, and the bus stop is 40m away with plenty of buses running to and from the airport. “Overall hotel room is okay but not too happy to assign to floor 0 as I found bugs inside the room from time to time. Initially, I want to extend my stay but I finally moved to nearby hotel for extra nights as I don’t want to stay in floor 0. The most important is they are not providing service to keep guests’ baggage, so I need to walk round to keep them at the airport wait till check in. They should mention it on their booking page.”
