“Parking is in The Lawns car park and at £10 for 24 hours is reasonably priced. Check in was very welcoming and everything explained, including the refurbishment being carried out. The room was lovely, as was the bathroom. Mugs on the tea/coffee tray are a great idea, hotel cups are often far too small! “this hotel is a little surprise. Doesn’t look much from the outside and not helped by being next to a disused building. However, once you enter it is a very different experience. The hotel is lovely, well maintained and the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. We had a family room which was very good, though could do with some better quality bed linen. “The service was excellent, the food good, good breakfast. Parking free and WIFI good, nice sized TVs in the room, nice sized rooms. You CAN sit in the Martini bar area with your dog to eat your meals. The decor is a bit tired looking, 1990s dated and our dog friendly bedroom as not cleaned to the best standard there was a stain on the carpet that would have been easily enough for someone to get rid off which the correct products.
