“Enjoyed the Royal Lion especially the location and free parking. We were allowed to park before check in time and after check out time which was particularly valuable for central Lyme Regis. The location in the heart of the town was ideal, we didn’t need the car at all during our stay. The hotel was very clean and freshly painted, but furniture and fittings a little dated. Our room sloped a bit, but all part of the charm of a period hotel. Reception efficient but not overly welcoming, which one……

“We spent 9 days touring England by car and train. Overall the Frampton Inn and Pub was the best overall place we stayed and ate/drank at. It has an excellent restaurant and Pub. The best price for an Ale. The room was modern and even had AC if needed. All the staff were very nice and hard working. We will return someday.”

“Loved the hotel. Loved the location. Staff were lovely and very obliging. Breakfast was extremely good, it was just a shame that the restaurant is closed at present but lots of places to eat within walking distance. We are looking forward to going back in 3 weeks time for another 2 night stay. ”
