“Good: The decoration of the room is cozy and in good classic style There is a bar on the ground floor which is good Staff are nice and friendly Bad: Strong smell in the bathroom which is disgusting, we think that comes from the eroding wood The water boiler is not clean and there is even water remain inside Being asked for the room key after check out but believe their staff mixed things up (Wrong number tag on the key)”

“We had an amazing stay, the Old Vine is a beautiful historic building in central Winchester. The room was comfortable and immaculate, the bed was comfortable and the bedding and pillows were great, thebathroom was large and very clean. We had breakfast in our room which was delicious and hot and plentiful. All the staff were great and very attentive.”

“Staff are very welcoming and will help as much as they can, to make sure your stay is good, the rooms are clean and fresh, the bar and dining areas are clean, and the pool table is a great added extra to this B&B. Like most old buildings there is always something that needs doing, if you look for it, but overall the property is in good character. “I’m so disappointed with this arrived and it was not even close to what I was expecting from the booking. Not to mention that I had to wait outside for nearly an hour and a half as someone else had taken my room and I had not been given any information on how to enter the property keys, et cetera. Once I finally got hold of The guy in charge, he was not very pleasant to deal with or very welcoming. Due to the issues leading up to this point, I ended up booking somewhere else as just did not……
