“The check in at this property was quick and easy. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The surprise upon checking out was that the owner saved the hot breakfast burritos for us, realizing we didn't make it for the continental breakfast accompanied by the fresh, hot and delicious egg burritos. Very thoughtful and a personalized feel to the stay!!”

“To visit the caverns, we have to choose a hotel in Carlsbad. There was not much options out there. Everything was OK here, with an unfair price though. However I would assume there hardly is a better option around this area.”

“There was no grass anywhere around the hotel for dogs to use the bathroom. We had to run the shower for 15-20 min before any hot water came out.”

“My only complaint was that we were there for two nights and housekeeping did not come to the room after the first night to empty garbage and give us new towels. When I took the towels and washcloths to the housekeeper, she promptly gave us replacements but I had to seek her out after being away from the room for most of the day.”
