“Beautiful area and short walk to lake flower! ”

“There brook in the background is great. This place is an old style, but we’re ok with it. This is our second stay. The staff is very nice and does everything to help you. Right off the road, but quiet. Nearby town for food. No elevator for second floor. Again, fine for us. No AC, but you don’t usually need it and rooms have fans. The doors are odd, but all work. Let the water run awhile for a hot shower or washing dishes. Good size fridge and stove. Great access to all things Adirondack. ”

“My 12 year old son and I stayed here as part of a trip to Lake Placid. So quiet and peaceful, while being so convenient to restaurants and shopping in Saranac Lake. Very clean, and the caretaker could not have been nicer. Would absolutely stay here again! ”

“Good facility, comfortable stay, clear instructions at the front desk. Need elevator. More trash cans in room. There was only one in bathtoom. The room light in the ceiling fan was difficult to close.”

“It has some sort of hostel feeling (common kitchen, pit fire area, barbecues, board games) with lovely private rooms. Bedding could be improved but we still would highly recommend it.”
