“Our family stayed here on a ski trip to Whiteface. The hotel is across the street from the mountain and is a great base camp, especially when you’re skiing with kids and have a lot to prep/do to get ready! We were here during a very large snow storm and the driveway was plowed and accessible even with the constant snow dumping! Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice base camp away and will spending most of your time outdoors. Beautiful view of the mountain! ”

“Stayed two nights while on a May 7-9 ADKS fishing trip. Check in was super easy, room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay and I enjoyed my stay there. Beds were clean and comfortable, bathroom was spacious, unlike some other hotels, and I loved the shower that had plenty of hot water after a cold, rainy day on the river. While there was no microwave in my room there is one available in the office, which I used a couple of times. I would and will definitely stay at the Hungry Trout……
