“Spent a lovely few days at the Woodlands hotel with a friend and our two dogs. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were nice. If you are looking to take a dog with you it's a great choice. They have a lovely big safe garden, with a gate leading straight out to the forest. There is a bar area where you are allowed to have your dog with you during breakfast and dinner and the food is very good. If you are not a doggy person, there is a separate dining room, so you don't have eat with dogs……

“Nice large Manor House hotel with extensive grounds. All clean and well looked after but a couple of areas could do with refurbishment now due to age and general wear and tear. Nice that they allow dogs. Great stay, friendly staff, many thanks.”

“Very informative staff and enjoyable breakfast. Property has large car park and benefits from petrol station close by. Room we stayed in (Oak) was subject to irregular heating system noises which disturbed sleep.”

“Gorgeous room, clean, big and very pretty interior. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. The breakfast is cooked to order and was very good and they were very accommodating for our toddlers needs. Our toddler loved the playground and the outside garden was perfect to sit until late in the evening.”
