“Devonport House is a wonderful guest house in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Jenn and Jacques are great hosts and very helpful with tips for restaurants and sightseeing. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Breakfast includes plenty of choices for everybody. Constantia is perfect if you are looking for a place close to Cape Town but safe and quiet.”

“Das Dongola House ist wahrlich ein verstecktes Juwel mitten in einer Oase. Der Erholungswert dieses Hotels ist außergewöhnlich hoch – perfekt für eine Auszeit vom Alltag. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Familienfreundlichkeit: Schon vor unserer Ankunft wurden wir gefragt, welche Art von Bett wir bevorzugen, was uns sehr entgegenkam. Das Frühstück war ein absoluter Höhepunkt unseres Aufenthalts. Die hochwertigen Speisen, insbesondere das Müsli und die Omeletts, waren köstlich und liebevoll……

The best thing about it were the people who looked after me and were beyond helpful before I arrived arranging my airport pick up, waiting for me when my baggage got lost and taking me back to the airport to collect it. “Ein rundum erholsamer Aufenthalt, angefangen beim Pool gleich nach dem Einchecken, dem sehr sauberen, grossen Zimmer, der ruhigen Lage oberhalb der Stadt und dann das ausgezeichnete Frühstück mit dem besten Omlett, das ich je gegessen habe. Der tägliche Kontakt und Austausch mit dem freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Personal macht es klar, ich komme bald wieder!”

“Lovely place and extremely well situated for visiting the constantia wine route (walkable to Beau Constantia) and Kirstenbosch. Well presented and decorated lounge areas, both inside and out. Great to have nice coffee and sweets available at all times. Room (Pumba) was a little smaller than expected but absolutely fine for what we needed. Shower was lovely. Did struggle a bit getting our cases down to the room, steps quite steep and having to pass very close to another room which felt a bit……
