“Quiet with easy access to restaurants ”

“Overall we had a very good evening. Everything was great as far as convenience and closeness to dining and touring the area. You can walk to the next town. Items in the room need to be replaced {coffee pot is old and dirty and the alarm clock/radio is old and runs fast}. The breakfast was good as well.”

“My wife and I spent a considerable amount of time looking for the ‘right’ place to stay for her to recover following a surgery at Wake Forest Hospital. We were unsure about a bed & breakfast but reviews were great and the photos looked nice. Wow, what a great choice we made. The room - The Chesterfield King - was great. Charming, sizable and with a large shower, private porch and plenty of streaming options on the TV The service was just as wonderful. Mary Evelyn couldn’t be kinder and more……

“Chose the inn as a stay for a quick girls trip and it did Not disappoint! Shane, the innkeeper, was very communicative and helpful. We stayed in the Twin Pines room. It was so comfortable and well appointed for our needs. Breakfast was delicious! The inn was empty so we got to explore a bit and we are definitely coming back. The only thing i wish was a full-length mirror in the room”

“Very good for a last-minute booking for the North Wilkesboro Race.The place was clean ( except behind the bathroom doors right in that corner) The beds were comfortable with good pillows and the towels we high quality. Air conditioning worked well, and an 11:00 check out is the best!”
