Also located next to a 24hour Asda service station and travel lodge which created vehicle move movements at all times of day & night. We ate in the Salway hotel each night in addition to Breakfast and found the food & service helpful and attentive and the room adequate for our needs. We had been to the hotel previously and found it suitable to our needs.”

“The hotel is situated a short walk outside of Ludlow, about 10 minutes walk from the castle and over a stone bridge. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. My room had a view of the castle. A good breakfast was included in the price. The hotel has a bar which was open in the afternoon. There was no lift in the hotel, which is a problem with heavy luggage as I was on the 2nd floor.”

“Really enjoyed my stay here. I normally stay in modern hotels so this was a change for me. The town is lovely with narrow streets and old buildings so took a while to find the car park to the rear but that’s on me. From check in to check out though everything was an absolute pleasure. The young lady on the desk checked me in promptly and actually showed me to my room instead of just passing a key and having to try and find it in this quaint old building. Room was nice, fitting for the building……
