“I stayed here for a night during my Costa Rica trip. The eco lodge is eco-friendly, the staff was really nice. The peark of staying at the Tirimbina lodge is that you do not have to pay an extra fee for the hikes through the reserve. The place is nice and clean, you are surrounded by nature and that is why I went there. I did the night guided tour and it was thrilling to cross the bridge at night. If you go there, that is a must ! ”

“The setting is lovely with beautiful trails and riverside-views. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, setting up tours and answering questions. The food was top notch with great plant-forward options. The riverside room had AC which was an added perk. “My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. ”

“Hotel très sympathique, dans un très beau parc avec un pont suspendu . Notre chambre était tout en bas du parc, près de la rivière, ce qui était particulièrement agréable . “This is not a typical hotel or cabin stay. If you want luxury, keep looking. The food and accommodations are quite basic but serve the purpose. The real bonus about staying here is the great access to being very close to the nature of Costa Rica. “Very nice property with stunning flora and fauna. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The included breakfast - fresh fruits, eggs, housemade toast and jam, rice and beans as well as a fresh coconut - was delicious, especially the coffee. “We stayed here for only two nights for my birthday, as we wanted to splurge a bit. This is a gorgeous, very well manicured 5-star resort. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a higher level room for my birthday, so that front desk staff knew how to make an impression. The room was crazy amazing fabulous. Look at their website pics as they are very accurate. Expedia includes two tours when booking, so we got a fabulous night frog tour, and a half-day personalized tour of their wildlife……
