“We enjoyed our stay! Our first room faced onto Canal Street which is very noisy into the wee hours of the morning, so was difficult to get a full night's sleep even with earplugs. The hotel was accomodating and gave us the special room with no outside windows. It was much quieter. They had a small breakfast with cereal, muffins and yogurt available. The surrounding area felt a little bit sketchy with homeless people, but the hotel itself keeps the front door locked via key card entry. The staff……

“We liked almost everything at this hotel, but we did have a couple of negatives. One small issue was the pocket door in the bathroom. We, personally, like more privacy, and the sliding door kept sliding open. A major problem was the noise from the cleaning staff in the morning. We had a door hanger with "Sleeping" on it, and they either failed to notice or didn't care as they were having loud conversations between three workers in the hall outside our room. I was trying to catch up on sleep……
