“The hosts were very nice. They took care of us of almost everything. They even offered their home-grown star fruit for us to try. It was delicious and sweetest star fruit we had ever tried. Nice stay and nice time with them.”

“My husband and I were very happy with Alicia's Inn - it was exactly what we needed, affordable, very clean, close to the beach, restaurants, and cruise pier (10-15 minute walk to the cruise pier). In addition, Morlene and Barbara were so very friendly and fantastic. And prior to my stay, they were prompt with answering any questions I had. Definitely would stay here again, and would highly recommend! Thank you Moreen (spellig?) and Barbara!! ”

“The Mary Anne is a lovely botique hotel with great views and comfortable and visually appealing accommodations. Lyndsey and Chase were amazing. They were so welcoming and assisted us with our luggage and provided great recommendations for restaurants and grocery shopping. The pool and chaise lounges were very comfortable. We will definitely stay again when we return to St. Thomas. ”

“So here’s the thing: This place probably used to be majestic, and the more people that stay there, the better I assume it will get, from the revenue generated. It’s currently mid-renovation, and only one of the big houses is even open. So you’re basically getting a studio apartment (maybe there are bigger suites) on the side of a Caribbean mountain (my cabbie said, “this is just a little hill…”). You CAN see the city and the water, but neither is all that close so rent your own car or spend more……

“The room was spotless, comfortable, and location, location, location! The hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from all of the restaurants in Esperanza. The owners of the property are extremely welcoming, kind and provided a ton of great recommendations for things to see and do while on the Island. We will definitely stay there again!”

“Had a wonderful time. The property was beautiful, very clean. The property owner was amazing and so accommodating. She gave us all kinds of recommendations for things to do and where to go, always making sure we had what we needed. Definitely will visit again and stay here.”

“When we showed up we initially could not find the location as it was surrounded by a few abandoned houses. After finally finding it we found it to be locked and there was no front staff to let us in. This location is not a hotel, it is more of an abandoned house. When we called the phone number there was no answer. Had to stay in a different hotel that night, please do not book here.”

“Our stay at this property exceeded our expectations! James was very communicative leading up to our stay, and met us at our car rental location to lead us to the property. Since this was our first time at St. John, this was very helpful. He gave us a tour of the property, sharing tips to improve our stay, and even prepared a snack platter of some goodies from a local market. The bathrooms and bedrooms were fully stocked with anything we could need (extra blankets, fans, AC, basic toiletries).……

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Camp grounds! This trip was a solo trip for me and I used it just for a little me time. Great place to relax and do exactly nothing. The cabin was nice and cozy. Open to nature and you will hear it as you rest and relax. I realize no place is perfect and perfection was not what I was in need for. This place was more for self therapy and peace. I would do it again if possible or if my health allows ”
