“The room and house were wonderful. I do recommend small cork disks under the tubs clawfeet and the bedposts to protect the floor and less sound when the tub expands. There is left handle on the Southwest window that should have new screws applied as well. Overall the room/stay was fantastic! Though we did wonder if we could have bought bath bombs or bubblebath there because we had forgotten to buy some at Walgreens.”

“The property and rooms were ver clean and new. The gym was stocked and clean. The breakfast and coffee in the morning was hot and fresh. We enjoyed our stay greatly. ”

“Everything was great, but electricity went out around 10pm and didn’t get fixed until 10am. This made it a hassle to get around in the dark, even with flashlights. ”

“Nice restored mansion with small, but comgortable rooms. Private bathroom & tub/shower combo, with small frig/freezer and coffee maker. A plus was the pot-belly gas stove for warming on cool Duluth mornings & evenings. Overall, very comfortable. Brule Retreat room was up one flight of stairs.”

“This property was a lucky last minute find. Only 15 minutes from UMD, where my son attends. Can safely have windows open overnight and let the Lake Superior waves lull you to sleep. It is a basement apartment and home owners were not present, so I can’t speak on that. Very nice patio with grill as well as wood burning chiminea, both of which we used and enjoyed immensely. Thank you for sharing your property.”
