“The hotel was well situated and an ideal size for a couples trip. The pool was fine, and the breakfast good if a bit slow to arrive when they were busy. The room was very nice; the bathroom fine but a bit short of hooks, rails or storage space for one’s own toiletries. The shower needs a shelf rather than balancing the soap on top of the tap. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.”

“Great hotel with super friendly staff in a great location, handy for the harbour, shops and restaurants. We were asked to move rooms after two nights and were compensated with half board for the rest of our stay. Lovely clean pool - sunbeds a bit uncomfortable and you need your own towels - but a minor issue really. ”

“Our stay at Casa Mespilea was absolutely wonderful. It’s a glorious place with quiet low key vibes, a wonderful courtyard space to eat and fantastically kind staff. I only had breakfast on one day, but the pancakes were fantastic and the fruit was wonderfully fresh. The room was comfy and clean, with divine air conditioning as well. “The location was great. Right on the market square of Polis with great fish restaurants close by and a lovely cocktail bar next door. The rooms are minimalist but the bed was comfortable and the aircon didn’t keep us awake which was a bonus! The staff were friendly and courteous, giving great service and nothing seemed too much trouble. This is not a 5 star creature comforts spa and pool hotel, but a lovely small 6 rooms, boutique hotel which is clearly respected by the locals who stopped by……
