“My stay at the Troubadour was great. The staff were very helpful and efficient. The hotel is very nice, safe, and generally quiet. My only complaint is parking. Valet is $50 dollars a night which can add up depending on how long you're staying. There's a public lot across the street from the hotel that I used which is a safe option as it gets locked after hours. It was 30 dollars a night, but increases to 40 dollars on the weekend. “Here's the translation: "First time visiting New Orleans, full of excitement. However, upon checking into this hotel, the rooms were extremely old, the lighting was uncomfortable, giving the feeling of being in an operating room. The photos looked great, but the reality was vastly different, with worn-out sofas. Very disappointed. This hotel doesn't even come close to a 4-star standard, and staying here was very unpleasant. Eventually left a day early and switched to another hotel.”
