“I've stayed in a lot of good quality hotels in New York,but this one was a bit different. My stay felt very safe and personable, I had everything I needed, and if I didn't I had the front desk to always guide me through any questions I had. Very clean rooms, and such an amazing surrounding area with lots of options for food ”
“Love how quiet the Ludlow is (we were on floor 11), despite it being in a busy area. I did find it odd that I had to request a luggage rack for the room, but they brought it up very quickly. The room and common areas were clean. My only nitpicks are that I didn't love the pillows (not enough neck support) and the toilet paper holder kept falling off the wall. ”

“Loved the aesthetics, the attention and elegance in every detail. Wonderful team, always present and helpful with a smile. Sophisticated rooms & bathrooms with quality brands essentials. We enjoyed every restaurant and mostly the beautiful terrace and view. The only disadvantage was the larking at 120$ per 24h with 120$ everytime we need the take the car when it’s unlimited access in other luxurious hotels we’ve been. We were lucky though to find free parking right there for 3 days. ”

“We had an amazing time at The Merchant Hotel. Firstly - the view was gorgeous. Such amazing big windows. The room was so clean and in great condition. Good lighting. Comfy bed. Had a fridge which is a lovely bonus. The bathroom had 2 separate shower heads - perfect for a couple's shower. The room was a good temperature which considering it was 35C out was a blessing - yet it was the freezing cold air con you get in some places. The hotel had a lovely rooftop bar with fab views and nice cocktails……
“Pros: Hotel is clean. Pillow is very comfy. Location is convenient close to Fulton St Station and many downtown attractions. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
Cons: no coffee maker at room, room temperature can only be adjusted up to 74 degrees, which was too cold for us.
