“My wife and I wanted a place near the Metro for ease of access to the city. This apartment was perfect. Very short walk to the Metro, and a parking space in the garage included. The apartment was stocked with toiletries, which was a very nice touch. Communication with the host was easy, with very prompt replies to our questions. Would definitely stay again. ”

“We were promised internet/wifi and it didn’t work the entire trip. Contacted the property and she said it was but it wasn’t working until the day we checked out. The beds are IKEA very cheap. “First, the apartment is not remodeled, the lights in the kitchen and living room do not work, they had a lamp in the living room which we had to use for the kitchen, some outlets do not work either and they do not respect parking rights, the dishwasher and the toilet are clogged and do not They leave enough towels, they left three and we are 7 people. “Cons: This apartment is very run down, dirty, and moldy. I was uncomfortable staying here for a weeklong work trip to Rosslyn. The listed pictures conveniently do not include the bathroom which was the worst part. The bathroom vanity was full of mold and random items (Paper bag? hand cream?). There was dirty / brown build up on all crevices - where the bathtub meets the floor, where the shower door meets the tub, etc. The owner put new vinyl flooring in the bathroom but did not add any trim -……

“The outside needed a great deal of TLC. There was one weed about 3 feet tall. Also, the property is on busy road. I received no response to an email and It took 2 phone calls to get the owner.”

“This unit is managed by an offsite property manager who is basically non-responsive. Owners would not communicate at all. It took 1-2 days to hear from property manager about some significant problems - broken cable for internet connection that we figured out how to fix ourselves after two days with no connection, barely any water flowing from bathroom sink, no hot water in kitchen and shower, uncollected garbage that was strewn around parking area, and the list goes on. No items were fixed……

A text was sent a couple of weeks prior to our stay which had an incorrect address, so check in was a bit confusing. Parking was available but extra charge not disclosed. Asked in advance for baby bed, but had to wait for that to be delivered. Much of the information I sent on the front end of the transaction seems was not received by the host.”

“We loved staying at Geneva and Peter’s Cottage! We stayed at the cottage for a conference in Washington, DC, and it was a perfect place to stay! The cabin was impeccably clean, and very well stocked with anything that you may need! We had plenty of clean towels and sheets for our stay. There is also a fully stocked kitchen, and the appliances are updated. The cabin is close to parking by the street, and safe with a lock on the door. The surrounding neighborhood is lovely, quiet, and very safe.……
