I only really marked down a category because the place has a somewhat dated but sophisticated feel to it (spacious rooms with lovely views with ‘popcorn style ceilings’) … Generous room service was nice (lots of towels) and even fun to just people-watch in the grand lobby and listen to the front-desk staff accommodate just about every customer; this place goes above & beyond! “We really enjoyed staying at The Monte Vista during the Sourwood Festival. It was great to walk to town to eat and attend the festival. The hotel is old but very charming. It has a lot of stairs and no TV in some rooms, so be sure to book a room accordingly.”
