“This was such an amazing stay, I highly recommend it. Check in was very easy and straight forward. The bathroom was right next to the shed and was very clean inside. We had a bit of a problem with the power, but they fixed it within 5 minutes of me texting them. We had a tour of the farm which was the highlight of my Maine trip. “This rental surpassed my expectations - pristine, modern, cozy interior that was comfortable and immaculately clean. Even more notable, the piece of land that extends out to the bay is really beautiful. Several nice benches and chairs for watching the ocean, plus a picnic table and an outdoor terrace. “Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was neat and clean and as advertised. There was a lot of charm and character and the remoteness was what we needed to recover from the busy holiday season. Holly was a gracious host who communicated well and offered helpful suggestions for things to do. “Amazing property, smelled clean up on entry. The host was great to communicate with, and let my parents check in an hour early. I sent my parents for an anniversary trip here and they absolutely loved it. They have only ever stayed in hotels, so this was a huge change and I don't think they'll go back to hotels now haha. ”

“This was the perfect place to access Acadia—30 min. from our door to the top of Cadillac Mtn.—and for our family of four to share meals together. “We were 10 of us and everyone enjoyed the beautiful well equipped house ! Just 25 minutes to Acadia and bar harbor, clean, great back yard , fire pit, kitchen with all spices and utensils... there is nothing that we could not find ! Absolutely will go here again”

“We enjoyed our stay and the place was wonderful! We bought things to pack a lunch for Acadia, and it was nice there was a grocery store 2 minutes away. Being able to do a load of laundry after traveling and being hot was amazing! The place we stayed before had a washer and dryer, but we didn't want to buy a lot of detergent for one load. “What a wonderful home for a family reunion/birthday party! Our ages ranged from 11 to 81. As I wandered the many halls and rooms I liked to imagine I was in a Jane Austen or E.M. Forester novel. We all loved the house so much.It's true as other reviewers mentioned it's a little spare for the folks who use walkers and canes, no hand holds in the bathrooms and all showers are (gorgeous) on the second floor. "The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient."
