“This hotel is in walking distance to Funchal. It was so clean and the rooms are updated. The buffet breakfast that was included had so many options. It was delicious everyday. If I return to Madeira I would definitely stay at The Turim. I highly recommend this hotel.”

“This is excellent hotel, and we loved the building and the surrounding garden. It is not in the main area of large all inclusive hotels, but in a residential part of the city which made our Madeira experience more authentic. The walk to the center is easy, but I imagine it may be not that comfortable for someone with walking difficulties. We enjoyed our climb and had bo problem with it. The hotel garden is so well kept, gardener obviously doing good job. (And Sasha dog accompanying him) The……

“A very welcoming hotel with friendly and helpful staff . All areas are spotless and rooms spacious and comfortable. The grounds are immaculate and there is one heated pool . Very much appreciated in the winter months ! The hotel is in a convenient position with a short downward walk into Funchal and also benefits from certain areas within The Savoy Palace . Breakfasts delicious .. I could not fault this hotel and would definitely recommend. We will return ! ”

“I love the location by a beautiful park, in a walkable area. Good price for older charming hotel. to be clear I dont like many modern hotels with soulless modern decor. The lobby is staffed, chocolate shop out front attached. Lift to all floors from parking garage. Setup for an extended stay but lovely for the 1 night we stayed.”
