“Myself, partner, and 2 teenage kids love to get away from the city on long weekends to explore small towns and hike gorgeous state parks. This 4th of July was no exception and Utopia River Retreat lived up to its name. A perfectly sized cabin with anything we could need was a perfect home base to our adventures in Hill Country. It was quiet, clean, surrounded by nature, and close to the Frio and Garner State Park. The fireworks we perfect and the sunsets absolutely stunning. Will definitely be……

“Honestly, yes this place is like a 30minute drive from any grocery store or food, but we booked this house knowing that was gonna be a small struggle. Overall we felt very welcomed in this home the moment we walked in. I feel like the house was perfectly designed to bring you peace as your surrounded by nature, and even though I get home-sick easily, something about this cabin made it so hard to say goodbye. “Rating high because overall it was a very pleasant experience. It was rather uncomfortable for me as I'd chosen a specific cabin based on furnishings due to some mobility issues and was switched to another cabin. The couch and much of the other seating was not very comfortable for me because of this, but I did agree to the switch and was informed beforehand, so that is on me. Otherwise, wonderful communication, very clean, and the location is so beautiful. The goats, donkeys, and chickens we saw……
