“The cabin is perfect. We caught some big bass and catfish in the creek. The host was very friendly and communicated well with us. We will definitely be coming back to stay. ”

“Talk about being in the middle of no where, Ricks cabin is that. The cabin is situated 6 miles out of Comfort situated in the hills about 1800 feet above sea level. Getting to the cabin can be challenging but follow Ricks directions to the tee and you will be ok. On the way out we made a mistake and followed GPS directions, took a wrong turn and ended up driving down a really rough unpaved road leading to a really spooky looking cabin. The previous rave reviews are spot on with their commentary……

“Rating high because overall it was a very pleasant experience. It was rather uncomfortable for me as I'd chosen a specific cabin based on furnishings due to some mobility issues and was switched to another cabin. The couch and much of the other seating was not very comfortable for me because of this, but I did agree to the switch and was informed beforehand, so that is on me. Otherwise, wonderful communication, very clean, and the location is so beautiful. The goats, donkeys, and chickens we saw……

“My fiancé, myself and our 3 pups stayed in the wildflowers cabin for a month. It was such an experience since I’m a city girl. It’s close to Boerne but far enough away to have the quiet county air at night. We took the pups on walks, played with the goats, loved seeing all the animals on a daily basis. It was truly a great stay and would definitely come back.”
