“The property itself is really nice. Free internet washing dryer was a big help. It was very cosy and quiet which is what was important to me. Mickey was very communicative and helpful during the entire process. I can't recommend enough staying here. Thank tou for everything!”

“Rating high because overall it was a very pleasant experience. It was rather uncomfortable for me as I'd chosen a specific cabin based on furnishings due to some mobility issues and was switched to another cabin. The couch and much of the other seating was not very comfortable for me because of this, but I did agree to the switch and was informed beforehand, so that is on me. Otherwise, wonderful communication, very clean, and the location is so beautiful. The goats, donkeys, and chickens we saw……

“Talk about being in the middle of no where, Ricks cabin is that. The cabin is situated 6 miles out of Comfort situated in the hills about 1800 feet above sea level. Getting to the cabin can be challenging but follow Ricks directions to the tee and you will be ok. On the way out we made a mistake and followed GPS directions, took a wrong turn and ended up driving down a really rough unpaved road leading to a really spooky looking cabin. The previous rave reviews are spot on with their commentary……

“excellent location. we walked through the entire town. Genuine Texan friendliness. soft sheets and towels. good king mattress. well appointed house with thoughtful features. Fully equipped kitchen with spices and cooking oil. Fire woods, lighter, ice trays, coffee, dish washer/ laundry detergent. Lovely front porch with fragant china lily flowering tree. private cozy back porch. Highly recommended. Will stay again”

“Greg and Jamie have a beautiful tiny home that they set up. It was a getaway we really needed and it did not disappoint. We will be there again and would recommend to anybody looking to explore beautiful hill country and wind down. ”

The boys enjoyed the horse back riding offered by the owners of our rental property. All around great stay and close to town if you just want to get out or need supplies.”

“This facility is so much bigger than I expected. The cabin we stayed in is not new by any means and they have newer and bigger ones but for what we paid it was an exceptional deal. If you have an RV or motor home I think it would be great for a weeks stay or longer. It was cool watching the deer at sunrise and sunset. Beautiful country for motorcycle riding.”

“The property is amazing! Very peaceful, great views, but not too far from Boerne and easy to get to San Antonio. David was a great host! The house is an old ranch house, so it has “character” like any older home, just don’t expect a luxury resort . One bedroom does have to go through another for bathroom access and same with RV. This stay was like having a state park just to ourselves without the camping or cramped cabin! ”
