“We enjoyed our stay here. The location is just a few blocks from the main drag and restaurants. It was a very homey place and the breakfast and happy hour were nice . Fridge was stocked with water and ice. Our room was right at the entrance but was mostly quiet. However, it seemed the water pipes were really loud and we could hear alot of noise. I supposed thats one of the compromises with a bed and breakfast but it was not a deal breaker by any means. Staff was overall friendly..but not……

“The renovation was top notch. Breakfast was tremendous. On a scale of one to ten we rated the staff at a twelve. I hate to say it but we were quite disappointed with the food in the area other than the Fleet Landing. The sidewalks were HORRIBLE as my handicapped wife could only take her mobility device on the streets. “The hallways left something to be desired/there was a slight smell, however I think it just may be in need of an upgrade because the room was phenomenal. It more than exceeded our expectations and was very clean and modern looking compared to the hallway like i said. The room we got had a balcony with a beautiful view of the marina which was a nice surprise. The elevator was a little slow, but that is not a big deal just an observation. If I return to Charleston I would certainly book here……

Tour of lobby's art exhibit was led by a woman (whose name escapes me) who arranged the exhibit and answered my many questions about each painting/ art piece and the artist who creeated it. “We loved our stay at the Hilton Liberty Place in Charleston! I almost don't want to share how nice our accommodations were in fear that the next time we go to book here that the rates will increase or there will be no availability. Such an awesome "at home" feeling. If there was one "con" it would be that there's no pool - but we knew that before we booked, so no really a problem for us on this trip. Definitely "thumbs up" property!”

“The Emeline Hotel is very unique. We got upgraded to a one bedroom suite which was a wonderful surprise. They have a great coffee place inside and a small shopping area - big bar and sitting area outside. There sister hotel is the Ryder - so they give you drink tokens and you can get a free drink and sit near the pool if you wish. They did not charge us for valet parking -- which was super cool something to do with our status but yet The Ryder Hotel DID CHARGE 55.-- for parking plus resort……
