“A great place to stay located centrally for Hathersage. Plenty of parking. Our room was fantastic with space for three adults to share. Staff lovely. Good breakfast options. The downside was the very noisy, busy road that kept us wake as we needed windows open due to the heat. And then a loud banging noise (probably water pipes) started at about 5am. So not the best nights sleep. ”

“Lovely stay. The staff was great! Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful, even helping when our plans to tour local sites got messed up by a very heavy winter storm that caused power outages. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent quality and our servers could not have been better. Breakfast every morning was delicious and, again, our server was lovely. Would recommend this hotel if touring Derbyshire area. ”

“Check in: at the bar. Wait for 5 minutes as the staff served at the bar at that time. Wifi: good. Room: spacious, clean. One grocery shop near by, 5 minutes walk. No self laundry service. Breakfast: not buffet except juoice, milk and cereal, ok, basic. ”
