“My wife and I spent a couple of nights and love the atmosphere. Secluded is a good way to describe this property and it was exactly what we were looking for.You have great views from the firepit area of the hill across the valley and there are good views from the front porch.But, the best part was the peacefulness sitting in the mountain breeze and listening to the birds and nature. “The house was fantastic. It was decorated perfectly with some of the coolest touches, especially the table/bar in the kitchen area. Everything was very clean and worked as expected. Outside was peaceful, scenic, well-kept and enjoyable. We didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub and porch as much as we would have liked due to 95* August temps but we loved it nonetheless! “The cabin was very cute and cozy for a couples getaway. The property was well kept and quiet. The cabin came with everything you could need for a stay. It was close to the lake, food options and groceries. The shower is very tiny, if you are over 5’10” you aren’t fitting very well. I also think that blackout curtains needed to be added to the bedroom to block out the bright lights outside. They are in a timer but don’t go off until late. “If you're looking for a quiet getaway in San Antonio, this is perfect! The cabin was gorgeous, surrounded with trees and wild life (we saw up to 9 bucks one morning!) including a sweet black cat who greeted us our first night and when we checked out, but not far from shops and the city at all! I would definitely stay here again whenever I'm in San Antonio! ”

“Kathi & Dan were awesome hosts and very friendly. We really enjoyed our 5-night stay (regretted not staying the week) and would not hesitate to go again in the future. Their location was ideal for nearby attractions and those in San Antonio. Really enjoyed relaxing at the overlook with a glass of wine while watching the deer.We would recommend Stoney Porch to anyone seeking a relaxing time.”
