“We were greeted with chocolate chip cookies and a glass of wine and seltzer, while the property owners fed a herd of deer out in front of an amazingly beautiful canyon scape. The was more deer feed at the cabin, which we sprinkled in the meadow out front, and had lots of deer visitors which we enjoyed watching. We had questions about how to get to a favorite peach stand, which our hosts answered quite expertly with detailed directions. Breakfast was supreme, with farm fresh eggs, biscuit dough,……

“My wife and I spent a couple of nights and love the atmosphere. Secluded is a good way to describe this property and it was exactly what we were looking for.You have great views from the firepit area of the hill across the valley and there are good views from the front porch.But, the best part was the peacefulness sitting in the mountain breeze and listening to the birds and nature. The attention to detail, and the respect and love of nature - as well, as the kindness and attentiveness of the owners are the best I’ve experienced in a Vrbo rental. We will definitely be coming back. If you’ve never visited the “Hill Country” of TX, this is a great base to explore, get advice/suggestions of restaurants/attractions…it would have been an awesome trip had we not left the cabin! Deer, birds, every morning……
