“My wife and I spent a couple of nights and love the atmosphere. Secluded is a good way to describe this property and it was exactly what we were looking for.You have great views from the firepit area of the hill across the valley and there are good views from the front porch.But, the best part was the peacefulness sitting in the mountain breeze and listening to the birds and nature. “This place was perfect for my husband and I. We come to Wimberley regularly and really like that there's a great place to stay closer than San Marcos.”

“Fabulous accommodations, clean and comfortable. The only small ding was the road noise when sitting on the front porch, but the deer coming to eat and the night sky did makeup for that. And absolutely no noise was heard from the road when we were inside the house. ”

“The location is wonderful and surrounded by beautiful nature. The most memorable part is seeing old journals and photos of everyone who partook in making entries of their stays backing dating years. A timeless- time capsule to have inside such a relaxing atmosphere. ”

“This cabin was wonderful for our family of four. We were visiting family in San Marcos and used this cabin as a place to stay that was close. It’s well decorated, cozy and in the absolute perfect location! If you like being secluded, this is the place for you. There is a house close by but you can’t see them. ”
