“The staff were wonderful, and the location can't be beat. We unwound each night with a half-pint on the beautiful terrace that is set along the riverbank. The building is a lovely old hodge-podge of levels. We were at the top of it, which involves a stairs-climb that could be hard for some. There is ample parking (very welcome!). It's at the edge of the village, which meant it was a short, pleasant walk to find country lanes for an evening's stroll. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, and would be……

“The hotel was on the sea front, rooms were spacious and the bathroom had a walk in shower. Breakfast was good and the evening meal was very tasty. The price was reasonable and I’d recommend this hotel”

“Wir hatten einen kurzen, aber sehr schönen Aufenthalt, als Zwischenstopp für eine Nacht auf unserer Reise. Das Zimmer war klein, aber wirklich fein, mit gemütlichem Bett und sehr ruhig nach hinten raus. Das Frühstück war einfach, aber gut. Die Nähe zur Dartmoor Otters and Butteflies ist unschlagbar. ”

“The location was great because it’s not too far from the beach but it’s much quieter than the places on Belgrave Road. The bed is comfortable and the breakfast was great with nice quality sausage and bacon. Hosts are very welcoming. ”
