“I stayed here again after four years—back then we were in Clydesdale Court, and this time we chose the guest rooms in Holland Hall.
The campus was beautifully quiet during term break, and the staff were as friendly and helpful as ever.
My room was simple yet spotless, with a lovely view. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had excellent water pressure—just be mindful of the wet floor afterward. If you need a hairdryer or other small extras, simply ask at reception.

“Stayed here for 3 nights on this trip. A very comfortable stay with exceptional service. The air conditioner in the room stopped functioning, but the staff quickly took care of the matter as soon as we reported it and compensated us with many free drink vouchers; the manager got soaked in the process of fixing the air conditioning but continued to apologise to us for the inconvenience. Comfortable hotel
"Stayed here for 3 nights on this trip. A very comfortable stay with exceptional service. The air conditioner in the room stopped functioning, but the staff quickly took care of the matter as soon as we reported it and compensated us with many free drink vouchers; the manager got soaked in the process of fixing the air conditioning but continued to apologise to us for the inconvenience. The staff are very welcoming, and the environment is very relaxing. Will highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Exeter.
Special thanks to the hotel manager and one of the hotel staff members for swiftly taking care of the air conditioner issue; despite ending up being wet in the process you both have handled the issue with grace and kindness."
