“Excellent and cosy place to stay and to eat. Just a short journey from Oxford, and in the middle of lovely countryside. The Bell has a lovely country atmosphere with a stylish bar and restaurant. Service and food is excellent. Bedrooms are comfortable and have everything you could need at a reasonable price. Special mention for Toby, who works at the speed of light to ensure your evening meal is wonderful. A definate must visit for anyone in the Oxford area.”

“Was here for a 2-night stay for work. Free parking on drive of property, take care coming out, as restricted view of road. Greeted by Sigrid who was pleasant and provided good local information. Mini fridge and table on landing with snacks (need to pay for them). Also in fridge was fresh milk for tea and coffee in your room. My room was lovely with ensuite and seperate toilet (in room). “The Banbury Cross B&B puts a number of hotel chains to shame, from being greeted by the host through to the facilities and breakfast. Great place to stay, slept like a log and was fully refreshed for the drive down to Kidlington for work. Highly recommend this B&B.”

“Stayed just the 1 night to attend racing at the Silverstone race circuit. Room (twin) was very clean and tidy, comfortable beds, great bathroom and tea and coffe aplenty in the room. Highly recommended especially if you’re attending the circuit as it’s just a 10 minute walk. Friendly courteous staff and fantastic complementary English breakfast. ”

“This inn was right by the road between Oxford and Chippenham, and has a very cool history. It has a beautiful garden in the back that connects to a path connecting to 2 small towns. There are also other paths nearby that you can go to explore. The food here was really good and the room was very spacious compared to other places we've been! The only caveat is that we can hear the cars passing by faintly while sleeping. It's not a big deal at all for us but just a note for those who are very……
