“This property is very close to the Borrego Palm Canyon. I went through the DT’s in the Canyon on December 19, 1981, and stayed out there a few days afterwards. The Borrego Valley Inn is a perfect compliment to the intrinsic beauty of the Canyon with its understated elegance. The grounds are attractive because of their simplicity, and the secluded pool area optimizes quiet peacefulness. My room was uncluttered and functional. I felt at ease and at home. I never went back to the life of a drunkard……
