All the staff were friendly, accommodating, and attentive. The rooms had everything you needed, and the beds were very comfortable. All food on offer was delicious, and there was plenty of choice.

“Really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return and actually make use of the facilities, we just didn't have the time.
There were just a few minor feedback points that I hope are helpful. I don't drink coffee or caffeine and I used my own as the selection was limited. Also there was no milk option for coffee, in the room. Staff did have to juggle between bar/ reception and serving meals so a little slow at times. Hubby was a bit disappointed with his lamb as had watched other people in the day getting bigger portions but tasted lovely.Anna was so helpful and Millie only saw her 1 evening but really helpful. Our dog was even given a sausage for breakfast lovely touch. The ladies cleaning the rooms were lovely. ”

“Everything was v clean. We stayed in the Wotter Room on the second floor. Yes it could all do with a bit of a paint in patches but the room is charming and huge. The view was amazing - we could see the fireworks in Plymouth the first night that we stayed.
Had a fab Nepalese curry on Wednesday followed by an Indian pudding which was delicious. Steak on the second night.
The hotel is on the edge of Dartmoor but close enough to the local tourist attractions.
We will definitely return. ”
