“Clean comfortable and quiet, with plenty of parking.
Stayed 3 nights and the room was cleaned and replenished each day.
Staff were friendly and cooked a lovely breakfast.
Would have given 5 stars but the bathroom lacked a stool or any surface to place clothes.
Outside step is very deep. A half step would make the entrance and exit safer especially for older guests.”

“We had a great stay in this lovely little B&B, very homely and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. Complimentary jar of biscuits and sweets was a great touch. My little girl was very excited about this. Leaving plates and cutlery out for take aways in the evening is a fabulous idea after a long day on the beach. Definitely made life easier. Lovely friendly landlady. Fabulous communication and instructions for checking in received too. Would definitely recommend a stay here.……
“Just an absolutely wonderful old and historic hotel.
The location was perfect for exploring the harbour and the Naval museums.
Our host was a minefield of interesting and useful information, and couldn’t have been friendlier.
We were there for 4 nights and it was a truly great stay.

“Superb experience from start to finish. Lizzie was in touch before the stay to check all was ok, then met me in the next village and gave me a lift to the B&B after a long walking day. The place is fabulous. Cute, clean, comfortable, and welcoming. With an extensive breakfast offering as well, 5 stars is a must! Thanks for making my stay so perfect 😁”

The decoration of the room is cozy and in good classic style
There is a bar on the ground floor which is good
Staff are nice and friendly
Bad:
Strong smell in the bathroom which is disgusting, we think that comes from the eroding wood
The water boiler is not clean and there is even water remain inside
Being asked for the room key after check out but believe their staff mixed things up (Wrong number tag on the key)”
