“Die Anlage ist noch recht neu und es waren kaum Gäste da. Wir hatten den Pool und Whirlpool für uns. Der Whirlpool hatte aber eine gelben Schleim und im Pool waren viele Blätter. In der Nähe gibt es keine Restaurants”

“The experience was great from before we got there to after we left. The staff at Casa da Galeria is amazing! They are super friendly and professional. They will answer any questions you have or help you with anything you need. They were proactive even before we got there. Their breakfast is amazing. You order what you want to eat every day and they come right on time. They even packed us a bag of stuff since we were leaving for the airport early. They have a tiny parking garage for 3 cars but……

“The quality and size of the “apartments” (they’re basically houses, it’s great) is phenomenal for the price. To have a private back deck, many air conditioners, a kitchen, a nice bathroom, FOUR sets of sliding doors.. it was great. Friendly cats run the grounds, par for the course in Europe. Parking is a little tight and it’s in a quaint area of the island but those very small “negatives” are so heavily outweighed by the friendliness of staff, 24 hour pool and big clean rooms that it’s barely……

“We had the pleasure of staying 10 nights at Senhora da Rosa with half board - and we immensely enjoyed both the delicious food at both restaurants and the lovely pool and spa facilities. Despite visiting in november, well out of the vacation season, we lacked for nothing: everyone were extremely polite and acommodating and we had a great time. We will be recommending this hotel to anyone considering visiting the Azores!”

“Room was spotless. Bed was very comfortable. The place was welcoming and with lovely decor touches. Pedro and his wife were super nice and helpful. They also helped with booking tours- making sure we get a discount. Breakfast was nice, included homemade cake and cookies. In the heart of downtown! I certainly recommend this place.”

“The property is picturesque and the staff are very welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend having your own vehicle as the restaurants etc are not within easy walking distance. ”

“I loved the location, which was so close to the beach, that you could hear the sound of the waves. It was breathtaking at sunrise and sunset. The staff was very nice and tried to help with food restrictions (although there were some diffeculties with the understanding of what food is really vegan (e.g. eggs in pasta, butter on bread. Please ask twice to be sure. ;) ). The hotel is in a quiet region but close to the airport and you can start a hike nearby. I would recommend the place without……
