“Absolutely loved this place. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and wanted. The position of High Corner is fantastic and that’s not really doing it justice! The staff, all of them, were polite, welcoming, helpful and a credit to the pub. The rooms we had were lovely although one was a little small due to being upstairs, however this did not detract from my stay as I had it all to myself! Food, especially breakfast was very good. “Hotel is going through an ownership transition. I asked for a quiet room and was placed in a very quiet corner of the hotel. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was very good. Some areas looked tired, but as the hotel has recently changed ownership, I'll let that slide. Service was very good. Keep up the good work ”
