“This was our 3rd vrbo stay in Harpswell and our first on Bailey Island. We went for part of the week on our own and cousins joined us there for a couple of days. We were thrilled to bring our Boston Terrier along, too! The house is rustic yet elegant in some ways (amazing steam room, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds & bedding). Like many other reviewers, we spent tons of time on the lovely porch relaxing and enjoying the always beautiful view of the water, birds, boats, and sunrises and……

“You can tell from staying at this little cottage that the owners take pride in making sure the place is clean and that the place feels as though they are at home. It was the perfect place for our little getaway. The cottage was in a great area tucked away behind another beautiful home and next to an adorable pond area. The location was also great for walking down to where the beach is and main strip. Id say about a 20 minute walk with minimal turns. Overall, we are very pleased with this cottage……

“This Cottage was a perfect place for us to stay to meet up with relatives at Potts Point and to explore the area. Check it was easy, cottage is lovely and comfortable. Had everything we needed and some. Enjoyed sitting in chairs watching the birds in the cove. Highly recommend. Owners next door were very discreet.”

“What a wonderful stay. The views were absolutely amazing. Kitchen well equipped. We bought live lobsters just $10 a lb from Hannafords (try also the French baguette) just 12 min drive and cooked them, clams and corn all in the steamer provided. Lounge seating very comfortable. Cooks corner area has everything incl Walmart superstore. David was a wonderful host. Could not speak too highly of him. He came out late at night when I could not work something out.”

The location of this property is excellent - the views are great and a walk from the house to Grime's Cove couldn't be more beautiful. The house was very clean and had every possible amenity I could think of, plus a lovely welcome gift left for us by the owner - thank you! ”
