“Fantastic property and people!”

“Really beautiful renovation of the hotel. Brilliant reception and spa staff. The waiting staff at both the pool and restaurant was a big let down unfortunately. Understandably, the hotel is in its “soft launch” phase but breakfast time was woeful. Took too long to get orders taken for drinks, then even longer to receive a coffee - often received after we’d finished eating. Cutlery wasn’t on the table and it arrived with the drinks which meant you’d be eating food from the buffet but have no……

“The hotel provided daily cleaning which was nice and unusual to us for a 7-day resort stay. However, we were surprised that the unit didn't provide any tissue paper or paper towel for the kitchen. One single small cutting knife provided in the kitchen can barely cut through an apple. There was neither a dishwasher, nor dish washing liquid, sponge or kitchen towels. So, we had to purchase those basic items from grocery store. The beach was in a walkable distance from the hotel. But I didn't……

“Amazing hotel. Already 2nd time staying here. Front office team is amazing. They are very welcoming, friendly, professional. Huge thank you for such efforts to accommodate us in our room earlier. Room is huge, 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, balcony, spacius,clean. Amazing service from housekeeping keeping our room clean. Loved the amenities in bathroom with branded L'Occitane products. Restaurant is great, food is super delicious, big varieties of different dishes. Loved the services at restaurant, all……

“It’s not really a 4 star hotel, room and amenities not reach standard. Not much offer other than the pool. Breakfast just standard and it’s very inconvenience without a car. Front desk is not friendly and provide information. The positive is room with large balcony and close the small beach. It’s not worth for stay”

“Wonderful family owned B&B. The staff is amazing and so helpful with directions and recommendations for tours. Breakfast was outstanding. Our room was very clean. Very close to the beach and restaurants. I would highly recommend it and I would stay here again. ”

“Alcantarilha is tiny but well placed to enjoy the nearby beaches and attractions. The hotel is just off the N125. The hotel is fabulous. It is a 15th century quinta or olive grove with presses. The accommodation has been styled accordingly. If you're looking for something with more character than the usual hotels, this place is perfect. The grounds are extensive and well maintained and shield the location from any traffic noise. The pool is lovely with plenty of space and loungers.”
