“Great location. Even though the weather was terrible the sea was really choppy, it was still lovely to sit on the sofa and watch the bpats coming in and out of the harbour.”

“Really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return and actually make use of the facilities, we just didn't have the time. There were just a few minor feedback points that I hope are helpful. I don't drink coffee or caffeine and I used my own as the selection was limited. Also there was no milk option for coffee, in the room. It must be tricky to keep on top of the breakfast when there's families staying - I was waiting for the eggs for a while and had actually finished my breakfast by the……

“Beautiful B&B on a hill, but walkable to the bay and wharf and many dining options. The Bay Area is a little tacky with pin ball, casinos bars etc, but we had a very nice dinner at a spot called “Local” and it was walking distance to our lodging.”

“The Inn was comfortable and there's a car park nearby. There's a pub at the ground floor and another one opposite the inn. A supermarket is about 100-200 feet away so it's quite convenient. You can reach southern Devon's costal attraction within an hour's (by car). A natural reserve is also very close.”

“Had a lovely few days at the Abbey Inn. Really friendly staff and a lovely room. Located next to an idyllic looking stream with a bar downstairs and great looking food. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and all well cooked. A few minutes walk from the beautiful Buckfast Abbey and a few minutes drive from the quaint shops in Buckfastleigh. Happy to recommend ”

“Lovely position the view from room 7 is wonderful, although the sloping floor is a bit weird at first but it has a comfortable bed so ensured a good night's sleep. Breakfast was pleasant with various choices along with the hot choice ( although it looked a bit lost on a large plate, but was adequate) overall it was good value for money. We would have preferred if the front door was closed more often to prevent problems.”

“It’s the car parking that closes at 11pm - you have to pay for the car parking. There isn’t any sign anywhere to direct you to where you have to park. That is the only reason I won’t be going back - everything else was amazing. ”
