“Stayed for one night just wanted a peaceful break and had an excellent experience. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. We stayed in the chesterfield suite and the room was immaculate and cozy. They provided chocolate and strawberries as we were celebrating a big birthday which was a lovely surprise on arrival. “Overall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. We hadn’t met the owner, so decided it was easier just to clean them both before using them. On the hole, everything else was excellent. There was no recycling facilities, which was quite a surprise, and also a slight disappointment. Everything else was above……

“We had a lovely 3 night stay at Beamish Park Hotel, it was perfect for our visit as we wanted to visit Durham and Beamish Museum.A lovely room with a very comfortable bed,good parking outside our room.We both really enjoyed the breakfasts, which had a great choice of cereals, fruit, yogurt, full English, porridge, eggs and toast.Staff were friendly and helpful.”
