“Stayed for one night just wanted a peaceful break and had an excellent experience. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. We stayed in the chesterfield suite and the room was immaculate and cozy. They provided chocolate and strawberries as we were celebrating a big birthday which was a lovely surprise on arrival. “Another lovely stay in this fabulous pub. Our double room was spotless. Well decorated and some nice little touches inc the well stocked tea/coffee tray. Great location and views to the rear from the beer garden are spectacular. Can’t wait to return soon. Staff so friendly and welcoming too. ”

“Well located in the centre of Hexham, this is a nice hotel close to a lot of Hadrian’s wall visitor sites. We stayed in a superior room, which nice enough. It was a bit noisy, mainly because the room was next to the lift and sound transmitted very easily through the gaps around the door. With a little bit of sound proofing, the room would have been excellent.”

“If you are going to Newcastle, just book this place. Its 5 min walk from the station and so central for the nightlife. Great pub underneath and food options everywhere. The apartment was clean and well laid out, the communication from Gary was spot on. Dont think, just book it.”

Also handy for restaurants, bars and nightlife in Newcastle. The hotel is always clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, there is also a restaurant and swimming pool on site.”

“The oak tree inn was a good choice for a one night stay. The drinks were nice and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. The room was nice and clean. Tv remote was very slow and shower wasn't great. Bed was only a double and prefer king size but was fine for stop over stay”
