“The Woolpack Inn excelled in a lot of areas,especially with respect to parking nearby, with good food throughout and a comfortable and quiet room/suite with good furnishings, TV, kettle, bathroom-shower facilities. The staff were very helpful and the guest breakfast area very nice and friendly. If travelling again to a nearby area I would stay again if the prices remain competitive and standards maintained. The only "fly in the ointment " was the frequent "door slamming" of fellow guests in the……

“We had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with a modern ensuite. The pub itself was charming in a beautiful area,the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was made to order with a variety of choices and the dinner was absolutely delicious. As a group of four having a ladies get away it was absolutely perfect. We would all highly recommend a visit here.”

“Really friendly staff. Room was beautiful but the view was a slight disappointment due to the view as our room was at the back of the hotel. Bed was so comfortable and spacious and bathroom was very well laid out with a nice little touch of dressing gowns and slippers. Room did get a very warm at night but a fan is provided in the room. A few little cobwebs on the ceiling in the corner and a little bit dusty in places, but overall nice a clean. There was a party/wedding going on at the hotel,……

“My sister and I stayed at The Vestry for just one night whilst we visited our Dad. The venue is undergoing major refurbishment at the moment, that was fully communicated to us and we were offered the option of cancellation, but that was not an option for us. I don’t really want to comment on anything else about our stay other than to advise the location is first rate and to say that the manager, Sam, is an exceptional young man who is kind, professional and just brilliant, and I hope the venue……

“Our room was slightly small but the bed was very comfortable and clean. The heated towel rail didn’t seem to be working, probably turned off with the heating so our towels didn’t dry well, although we could have asked for fresh ones, prefer to reuse. There was plenty of easy parking. The breakfast had a good choice of hot food. It was good to have a lounge room as we were staying along with two other couples so we were able to meet there.”

“Evie checked us in she was friendly and efficient telling us which bars had music and to what time when we mentioned we were out for the night. The room was really well laid out and had everything I needed.would recommend it.”
