“Everything expected and more for a short break in York. Wonderfully appointed location, few minutes walking and ypu are in the heart of historic York. Serenity Inn the City matched tge description and photographs posted, excellent communication from the owner. ”
“Excellent stay, however a couple of observations. A broom or dustpan would have been useful to keep tidy. Missed having a table and chairs, obviously you have your reasons but a fold up could be a compromise ”
“If you are not good at climbing stairs, or if you are carrying 2 or 3 suitcase with you, never book a room at 1st floor . My experience is that, after I have brought the suitcase up the narrow and winding staircase, I need to take a two-hour rest before I can have the courage to think about going out. Other than that, the hotel is comfortable.”
“Amazing! The apartment was fabulous and so comfortable - location, facilities etc! Couldn’t work the oven and the manual was missing but someone tried to help but I just didn’t have a clue how to get it to work! Wasn’t a big issue and I am sure someone would have come if needed! Will be back! ”
“The site is convenient, at walking distance to the city centre and tourist attractions. Facilities OK. We stayed for more than a week, the arrangements can be improved by having arrangements for exchange of towels. Generally good experience. Will return.”
