“Quando siamo arrivati al cottage verso le 18.00 non si è presentato nessuno per darchi la chiave. Abbiamo chiesto ad una vicina che ha cercato si aiutarci. Alla fine, verso le 21.15 hanno rintracciato la donna delle pulizie che ci ha prestato la sua chiave. Ore che volevamo trascorrere a York e che abbiamo perso girando da una casa all'altra in cerca di aiuto. Roberta”

“We bought the 3 night stay as gift for our son's birthday. After a 3 hour journey they could not access the property as the keysafe code we had been given was incorrect. My wife and I were out for a meal and spent over an hour trying to contact someone that could give us the correct code. Eventually after nearly 2 hour they were able to guess the code and gain entry. Customer service and support were pathetic and left them stranded in the rain.”

“Comfortable, spacious cottage with all modern conveniences. Lovely welcome pack of eggs, bread, milk and apple juice. Quiet location with a rural outlook so close to York. We even had some sheep outside our door!”

“High specification, spotless and well appointed property. Easy walking distance from the centre of York. Enjoyed a breakfast sat in the garden. Booked as group of 4 and plenty big enough. Definitely recommend for proximity to centre but also being in a nice peaceful area too.”

“Had a relaxing three night stay in this lovely cottage. Plenty of space and very comfy beds. Nice size bathrooms although unfortunately the shower in the family bathroom was leaking down into the hallway so everyone had to use the ensuite shower. Not ideal but no fault of the owners. Nice and warm and really cosy, even more so with the log fire blazing. family bathroo.the family bathroom ”

“This cottage is represented well by the photographs on the website. It had everything we needed for our stay. We are two adults and two children (15, 12) and there was adequate room for us all. There were no issues with parking directly outside the property, we managed to get a space everytime. Helmsley is a lovely place, everyone was very friendly. This cottage was an excellent base for exploring the nearby area.”

“Absolutely brilliant stay in a wonderful apartment. Great location, short walk from main area, the apartment is very modern and comfortable and a great place to base yourself for the sights. Everthing you need and very cosy, but with plenty of space for 5 of us. Grratvto come home to after busy days in York. Thanks for having us!”
