“Everything was excellent, only issue was there was a private function on and we were informed the bar would be closed to us after 9pm on the second night! First time ever this has happened and we have stayed in multiple hotels! Guests in the hotel shouldn’t be refused access to the bar at all. ”

“Very accommodating staffs, gave us a very warm welcome. Our room was at the end in the second floor, was nice and quiet. Room nicely heated, get some insects in the room if windows are opened(even in winter), but not a big problem at all. Overall a very lovely hotel with nice dinner and breakfast. Beautiful town to visit! ”

“Overall I am very satisfied with OYO. The reception manager is ver nice and helpful and one I must mention is the breakfast. It is very good and delicious and there are a few you can choose so you can try different kind of breakfast if you stay a few days. Also the location is very easy to find and it is just 20 minutes away from the city Centre.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Lakes. It’s such a beautiful setting with so many activities on offer including a spa. We ate in the restaurant and it really is an experience- the food and service were outstanding. Bedrooms are beautiful - decor and furnishings. Guest services were very helpful both prior to arrival and on the day. We we definitely be back! ”

“Old charming manor that is one of the best in Cotswolds. Having stayed at a couple others including Lords of the Manor, the positives of this one in comparison are: its easier to get to from London, the grounds are amazing and impeccable, its a truly remote feel among the hills, land and animals of Cotswolds, and the michelin starred Dining Room is probably the best food in the Cotswolds. “Very cosy but modernized historic property! Had its own pub and restaurant serving delicious food and drink, and our hotel room included a cooked to order hot breakfast. It’s in a quiet countryside but with easy access to towns for any needed supplies. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!”
