“As soon as we arrived the staff where very welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was extremly comfortable. It was my friends birthday. When we got into our room there was a birthday card and vouchers for the bar in our room. Which i though was a lovely touch. The tapas food at the bar/resturant was lovely. Recommeded place to stay for a welcoming vibe and chilled trip to Bournemouth ”

“It might sound like a cliché and a bit over the top but I think this is one of the best hotels in the world. The location is great, ample parking, the location next to the river gives the hotel a great atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the service matches, even when the restaurant is very busy. A nightcap after dinner on the terrace by the river on a warm summer evening! What more could you want? Highly recommended!”

“Check in was friendly and welcoming. Ate a snack in bar,service was quick and food was excellent. Bathroom had bio friendly soaps,which considering the seaside location, I thought was a good idea.overall a good experience.”

“Absolutely loved this place. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and wanted. The position of High Corner is fantastic and that’s not really doing it justice! The staff, all of them, were polite, welcoming, helpful and a credit to the pub. The rooms we had were lovely although one was a little small due to being upstairs, however this did not detract from my stay as I had it all to myself! Food, especially breakfast was very good. “Really lovely stay at the hotel. Family of 5, with 3 children 5 and under and we felt very welcome. Perfect for a visit to Peppa Pig only 10 mins away. The staff were great. Really welcoming and no issue with the noise that children bring. Dinner was lovely. Although pub grub it was really tasty. Family room was very big. Although a little tired looking was absolutely fine for our stay. Would definitly recommend and would stay again. Only downside. The outside area would really benefit……
